We decided that it was best to replace Zach's shunt so they operated early this morning. Things went well and he will hopefully just have to stay overnight. He was a really sad boy when he woke up and all he wanted was food and his mommy. He was in quite a bit of pain so they ended up giving him morphine and he's sleeping now. He also has a little bit of oxygen because his saturation has had a hard time staying up. Overall, he's doing well. He was actually pretty "happy" after they first gave him the morphine! ;)

Oh wow, how scary to have to take your baby in for surgery! I am glad he is doing well!

Thank you so much for the update, and sooo glad the surgery went well. We've been praying for Zach since your last post (although Ava was quite disappointed to learn that she wasn't praying for Zach Efron, who plays Troy in High School Musical).
