Austin’s birthday was on Monday and he turned FIVE! I can’t believe he’s getting so big! We only had about thirty minutes to do his birthday stuff because Carlos got home from work and then had to go take his math final.
Jaiden made sure he didn’t leave the room while we set up his present outside…
Our wrapping wasn’t exactly elaborate….
….but he didn’t care! I think he was pleased!
The first time riding…
I think he looks so cute here!
Jaiden was being so sweet and helping him. He was also showing him the picture of the helmet on the bike saying the he needs to wear a helmet. Jaiden told him that it meant he could get a matching helmet. We went a let him pick out his own while Carlos was taking his test.
He also opened his and farm present from Grandma and Grandpa. We’ve ordered the ants. They supposedly bite! Uh-Oh!
This was the basic, practice run for the cake that would be for his party. I didn’t want to make a fancy one at first, but it’s what Austin wanted and I was convinced. This wasn’t too hard at all.

Then Zach did…………………………………..………………and Austin finally decided to!
We don’t have a party every year, but when they’re five, we do a birthday party, and that was today (Saturday.)
